As the holiday season approaches, I am reminded how fortunate I am to serve with such an outstanding group of people. The Plymouth County Sheriff’s Deputies, Communications Center dispatchers, Corrections staff, Reserve Deputies, Dive team and administrative support staff are dedicated, hard working and committed to serving the people of Plymouth County.
These men and women lay their lives on the line every day. I am reminded also of Deputy Sheriff Scott Dorhout as he prepares to go to Afghanistan to defend this great country, state and county. His dedication is second to none, and we pray for his safety and well being.
I encourage you to give these people a friendly smile or kind word to let them know you appreciate them as much as I do. I am truly fortunate to have them working by my side.
I’d like to extend my sincere thanks to the residents of Plymouth County. It is through your efforts, working together, that make our county a great place to live and work. I sincerely appreciate your commitment to the safety of our community. The support you’ve shown to me and the entire sheriff’s office during 2010 has been overwhelming.
I look forward to 2011 with optimism. I will continue to work with you to improve the quality of life for each resident we serve. May each of you have a
Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas & Blessed New Year
